Blockbuster soundtrack albums have made something of a comeback over the past couple of years, mainly thanks to movies adaptations of young adult books like Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars (and a little cartoon called Frozen). The Giver is the latest teen-oriented novel headed to the big screen, so it’s only fitting that it gets an appropriately star-studded album.

OneRepublic is responsible for the film’s theme song/lead single. “Ordinary Human” finds Ryan Tedder and the boys in fine form, delivering an ominous but still relentlessly catchy song about not fitting in. They also contribute another track called “I Lived”. Other acts featured on the soundtrack include British boy band Rixton, rising singer/songwriter Tori Kelly and soulful crooner Aloe Blacc. Listen to “Ordinary Human” and see the full tracklist after the jump.

The Giver:

1. Ordinary Human — OneRepublic 2. One Minute More — Capital Cities 3. Silent — Tori Kelly 4. Feel What’s Good — Jake Bugg 5. Children — Bruno Major 6. Whole — Rixton 7. Here Today — Aloe Blacc 8. Shine My Way — Sheppard 9. Difference Maker — NEEDTOBREATHE 10. I Lived — OneRepublic
