Boots Talks About Reworking Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love”, Hints At More New Music

If you’ve been online in the past couple of days, you’re probably already aware that a reworked version of Beyonce‘s seminal 2003 hit “Crazy In Love” scores the new 50 Shades Of Grey trailer. Boots, the rising producer behind most of Queen Bey’s game-changing visual album, was at the helm again and spoke to Complex about the latest endeavor with his iconic muse.

The producer has a very simple reason for reviving Bey’s signature song. “Falling in love can make you do crazy shit,” he says. “That was the spirit of the original song in the first place, we flipped it and it kind of became a whole thing.” Boots was also full of praise for the On The Run performer (“whenever it comes to the stuff that Bey and I do, I’ll never speak for her, but I think that she killed it”) and vaguely hinted at more to come (“there’s a lot of shit that’s coming up”). Can’t wait.
