BANKS And Lil Silva’s “Don’t You Love”: Listen To The Wistful Collab

In lieu of his soon to be released EP Mabel, up-and-coming UK producer Lil Silva has put out both the title track of the EP as well as synthy number “First Mark” to gear people up for what’s in store. Now, the bedroom beatsmith is back with “Don’t You Love,” and this time around, he’s working with recurring collaborator and our favorite LA soulstress-on-the-rise BANKS.

Having produced her Goddess title track, Lil Silva and BANKS wrote two songs together for Mabel. The first, “Don’t You Love” is a slow burner that builds carefully and meticulously. Poignant and delicate, the track progresses as Lil Silva’s own fluid vocals seep through followed by BANKS’ gentle croons. While their voices aren’t meant to be the focal point, they’ll still  have you humming “Don’t you lo-o-o-ve” by the end of it.  Listen to  “Don’t You Love” below.

Lil Silva’s Mabel will be out on August 5th via True Panther/Good Years.
