Guy Sebastian’s “Come Home With Me” Is Even Better Than The Snippet Indicated: Listen

Guy Sebastian previewed a snippet of new single “Come Home With Me” earlier this week and it sounded like another soaring dance track in the mold of recent hit “Like A Drum”. Well, first impressions can be deceiving. While the sing-a-long anthem definitely has a club-friendly chorus, it’s actually a pure-pop song with warm brass and acoustic elements.

Co-written in Sydney and Los Angeles with Mario Marchetti and Britt Burton, the latest taste of Guy’s imminent seventh studio album is an absolute earworm. “I’m sure that it’s not the whiskey making me dizzy,” sings the Aussie superstar to a disinterested lady at the bar. “You might think my lines are bad and throw my number in the trash,” he admits before asking her to go home with him anyway. Listen to the hook-filled future smash after the jump.
