Daphne Guinness Promotes Intergalactic Love In Her David LaChapelle-Directed “Evening In Space” Video

Daphne Guinness has quite the resume. She’s an heiress (note her last name) and fashion icon, having been the late, great Alexander McQueen‘s muse. The 46-year-old is now trying her hand at pop music because she can. The budding diva released her debut single last year but takes things to the next level with bizarre David Bowie-referencing pop anthem “Evening In Space”.

Produced by the Tony Visconti (who is best known for helming classic Bowie albums like Space Oddity), Daphne’s latest effort is an acquired taste. I love her dramatic deliver and drowsy vocal style but it’s not for everyone. The video, however, is a must-watch experience for all. Directed By David LaChapelle, the kooky visual finds our heroine rocking killer couture in a spaceship until she crashes and hooks up with an alien. Watch in awe up top.
