With their brand new song “Them Girls Be Like,” Fifth Harmony continue to deliver fierce self-empowerment anthems and plenty of pop culture savvy.

After name-dropping Michelle Obama and Kanye West while sing of getting their money right in “Bo$$,” the girl group references Beyonce and Mean Girls – “If you’re thirsty, you can’t sit with us” – in efforts to reject selfie obsession. The last thing Fifth Harmony want listeners to do is take selfies solely to seek validation (or likes, rather) from others: “Do you ever post your pics with no filter? #IWokeUpLikeThisToo”

“Them Girls Be Like” arrives as Fifth Harmony revealsa new version of its Reflection‘s album artwork (above) (Harmonizers rejected the first version almost outright) and a release date: November 17 (!). Hear Fifth Harmony’s new song after the jump.
