It will be interesting to see how Little Monsters and jazz enthusiasts respond to Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett‘s Cheek To Cheek LP but, judged solely on their merits, all of the songs we’ve heard thus far have been extremely pleasant. The unlikely duo dropped a low-key video for “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love” today (August 26) and it’s the perfect antidote for the diva’s overwhelming, more-is-more ARTPOP visuals.

Originally recorded by Adelaide Hall way back in 1928, the swingin’ standard is a nice fit for Gags and Tony. It allows them to riff off each other and ham it up (ever so slightly). Those shenanigans are captured in the studio-based video, which finds Mother Monster modeling a variety of wigs and smoking a cigar. Her suave companion looks a little bemused but he’s clearly having a good time. Watch up top.
