Jhene Aiko Gets (A Little) Psychedelic In Her Stylish “The Pressure” Video: Watch
The (increasingly long) wait for Jhene Aiko‘s debut LP Souled Out gets a little more unbearable with each new song and video. Today (September 2), the Def Jam diva unleashed her visual for “The Pressure” and it successfully capture’s the track’s languid, confessional vibe. There’s even a slight psychedelic twist to keep things interesting.
Oh, and then there’s Jhene’s amazing blond braids. She rocks the striking new style with ease, casually singing her cutting lyrics (“you are such a liar/I never denied you, I was for sure”) against a black screen. The 26-yeah-old also chills on the couch with her man and friends at various points before getting a little spacey in front of a screen full of moons. It’s cool. Watch up top.
