Nicki Minaj’s ‘The Pinkprint’ Now Has A November Release Date

Barbz, it’s time to for a line and start twerking in celebration, as Nicki Minaj‘s third studio album now has a release date. The “Anaconda” rapstress’ official Facebook page announced the following last night: “Nicki Minaj has officially confirmed the release date for her upcoming third studio album, ‘The Pinkprint’ — November 24!”

The Pinkprint sees Minaj returning to the same time frame that her debut LP, Pink Friday dropped. (That one was released on November 19, 2010 — i.e. the kickoff of the busy holiday shopping season.) And given that her sophomore effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, sold only about half the 1.9 million copies her debut did after arriving in spring 2012, it seems like a wise choice.

So far two singles have preceded the arrival of The Pinkprint: “Pills N Potions,” a Dr. Luke ballad that stiffed on the charts, and “Anaconda,” a raunchy rap romp that, um, caused widespread stiffness in other ways, and is currently perched in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 1oo.
