Walk The Moon Return With Super Catchy Pop/Rock Anthem “Shut Up + Dance”: Listen

Cincinnati-based rockers Walk The Moon delivered the first taste of their as-yet-untitled sophomore LP today (September 10) and it’s pretty irresistible. “Shut Up + Dance” finds the band tapping into a similar ’80s rock sound as Bleachers — albeit with a monstrous chorus and a plethora of hooks. This could be the song that finally lands the guys a crossover pop hit.

“This woman is my destiny, she said shut up and dance with me,” sings frontman Nicholas Petricca over jangling guitars and retro synths. The band is supporting the tune with a North American tour, which you can get really great tickets to if you pre-order their new album now (there’s a special deal for the next 48 hours). See their concert dates and listen to “Shut Up + Dance” after the jump.
