Kanye West’s Hospital Visit In Australia: There Are Conflicting Reports On What Happened

According to Woman’s Day‘s report, it seems Kanye West was gearing up to wrap his current Australian tour on Wednesday (September 10) when he “was whisked to Melbourne’s Epworth Hospital in Richmond suffering a migraine,” mere hours before the “All Of The Lights” MC was set to hit the stage. There he was reportedly given an emergency MRI, and the publication cited a witness saying doctors were concerned West had either suffered a seizure or was about to.

But TMZ gives a different account of the incident: “Yeezus and his entourage rushed to the emergency room Wednesday in Melbourne after playing basketball. Sources tell us Kanye had a pretty intense migraine. He was released later that afternoon after doctors checked him out and determined it wasn’t serious.”

TMZ went on to note that the “Australian media is claiming Kanye suffered seizure like symptoms … but we’re told it’s not true.”

Whatever the case may be, both outlets point out that West performed his scheduled gig at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday night, so all seems to be back to normal…for now, at least.
