She’s bringing booty back — for the very first time! — on The Ellen Show.
Rising diva Meghan Trainor hit the stage yesterday to perform her breezy, horn-heavy body image empowerment anthem, “All About That Bass.”
Backed by a crew of energetic dancers and a live band and clad in a suitably retro short dress and thigh-high boots, the Title songstress happily shimmied and swayed through her current #1 song in the country.
Following the performance, Meghan revealed to Ellen that she was inspired by a specific episode of Ellen before writing the smash hit. And, because the song just went Platinum, Ellen surprised the misty-eyed singer-songstress with her very first plaque — a sweet moment for everyone involved.
