Yes, it’s true — you literally blinked, and Susan Boyle is now onto her sixth album in five years. A follow-up to last year’s holiday offering Home For Christmas, the 53-year-old Scot’s upcoming LP Hope is described as “an incredible album of inspiration[al] songs” that features “breathtaking renditions of Pink Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here’ and Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’,” as well as John Lennon‘s “Imagine” and Sarah Mclachlan‘s “Angel.”

The album, which is co-produced by Cliff Masterson (Il Divo) and Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Brothers In Rhythm), has an October 21 release date.  Boyle will also be heading out on tour in the United States through October and November. (Catch the dates here.)
