Charli XCX’s ‘Sucker’ Album Has New Cover Art, Release Date Pushed Back Two Months

Charli XCX‘s sophomore album won’t be out next month after all. After originally announcing a release date of October 21 for Sucker, the British singer has pushed the LP back two months, to December 16 (and even longer in the UK: January 26) — though she insists it’s nothing to do with any trouble behind the scenes.

‘Boom Clap’ is still getting so much love all over the world, which is crazy, and it just makes sense, so I have proper time to focus on the album launch,” Charli wrote on Facebook today.

Additionally, the original cover art for Sucker has been amended — the main update being that Charli actually appears in the image now, along with the red lollipop from the original artwork that was doing the rounds.
