The Jessie J renaissance continues, as her single “Bang Bang” — already a smash in America, and just released this week overseas — is on track to top the UK chart. Great timing, then, for the singer to hit up one of our favorite British talk shows, Alan Car: Chatty Man. And what did the big-voiced songbird get up to talking about with Mr. Carr? The recent nude celebrity photo hack scandal, of course. That’s not to say naked pics of Jessie herself are doing the rounds — it was just one of the topics she ended up discussing with chatty man Carr on the episode that airs this evening, according to MTV UK.

Jessie said, “You know what’s funny, I got asked my opinion — I didn’t even want to talk about this, but hey — someone was like, ‘What do you think about it?’ and I was like, ‘Well…I’ve been in a lot of long-distance relationships, and as a woman, you need to throw down some stuff to make sure you hold down your man, right?'”

She continued: “But I do think it’s awful. I think it’s disgusting that people find pleasure in leaking stuff, but at the same time, if you’re famous and you’re sending naked photos, I do think you kind of have to know that they may be put out there.

The initial incident involved a group of risque photos purported to be of Ariana Grande, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Lawrence, Victoria Justice and Kate Upton, among others, which were uploaded to the online bulletin board 4chan over the Labor Day weekend following a major hacking. Some of those involved, such as Grande and Duff, announced that the photos said to be of them were fake.

Alan Carr asked Jessie J if she had any such material on her own iCloud account, according to MTV UK, and Jessie replied: “I don’t want to say that, because of the little shit that’s at home going, ‘Ha, fucker, I’m gonna get her now’.”

Carr then quipped: “So, obviously that’s a yes, then.”

The full episode of Alan Carr: Chatty Man airs tonight at 10 p.m. in the UK. Until then, check out our own interview with Jessie below.
