Another week has passed in the Pop world, and boy was it jam-packed!

It kicked off with song releases from Jessie J with “Burning Up”, and Kiesza‘s collaboration with Joey Bada$$ on “Bad Thing.” Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett‘s jazz collaboration Cheek To Cheek was released, and Danity Kane surprised everyone with a new album announcement and accompanying singleKendrick Lamar dropped his anticipated single, “i” while Wiz Khalifa & Amber Rose called it quits. Lastly, Carrie Underwood announced Greatest Hits: Decade #1 (her first compilation album) with the new single “Something In The Water” to be released on September 29.

Here at Idolator, we spoke to LIGHTS about her new album and also interviewed K. Michelle (it included a ton of shade, of course).

As usual, you were all quite vocal this week! Check out some of the best comments below.

:: Marie800 told it like it is on Jennifer Lopez And Iggy Azalea’s Soft-Porn “Booty” Video Earns The Sexy Duo A Top 20 Hit: “Terrible song and the video is even worse. It took Iggy’s star power and a soft-porn video to get a medium hit. Lopez’s career is dead as is her album. Nobody bought it.”

:: Just a No Doubt Fan is ready for Gwen Stefani‘s comeback on Gwen Stefani’s Comeback Single “Baby Don’t Lie”: Production Details And Video Director:  “‘4 in the Morning’ is also one of my favourite videos! Sophie and Gwen have a good chemistry and it shows. Can’t wait for the new single.”

:: Veronica Vixen was apparently quite excited for Mother Monster’s latest performance on Lady Gaga Teases Her Live Performance Of “Bang Bang”: Watch Now: “I don’t know if I should pick my chin up off the floor or get some glass for my nipples to cut through WOW SHE SOUNDS AMAZING IN THAT CLIP!”

:: yescorrect was all about Danity Kane‘s new single on Danity Kane Reveals ‘DK3’ Song “Rhythm Of Love”: Listen: “yaasssss give me life bishhh”

:: It’s clear that DavidSask was not feeling this remix on Tegan And Sara’s “I Was A Fool” Gets Remixed By Chuck Inglish: Listen: “If I heard this shit remix at a party I would destroy the hosts music player!!! This remix should not be underground but never should have been made.”

:: alistaircrane was super politically correct on Two Demos Dev Hynes Recorded For Britney Spears Have Surfaced Online: Listen: “I was happy with the Britney Jean album we got, but I would not like her to collaborate with will.i.am again in the future.”

:: One of the more memorable comments came from Jim, on Lana Del Rey Will Perform Two Special Shows At Hollywood Forever Cemetery In October: “If she’s gonna go goth, she’d better at least don some black and throw in a Siouxsie cover or two…I’m just sayin’.”

:: larab83 gave her thoughts on Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett’s ‘Cheek To Cheek’: Review Revue: “I think gaga should have calmed down her vocals a bit on this record. This was her chance to show a little nuance in her vocals, but I guess that is a foreign concept for her. I agree with slant in the sense that she is too much, and over sings almost every song. It’s a shame, I expected so much more.”

:: MizzReyRey was completely over Bad Gal RiRi on Rihanna’s Infamous/Legendary Nude ‘Lui’ Magazine Shoot Just Got Hotter: See Two Topless Outtakes: “How is this legendary? Madonna and Gaga did this years ago. I actually forgot about this”

:: And finally, archibaldleach threw subtle shade on Lady Gaga And Tony Bennett Talk ‘Cheek To Cheek’, ‘ARTPOP’ Sales And Exhaustion On ‘CBS Sunday Morning’: Watch: “I must be in a minority that felt ARTPOP was exceptional. The only thing I would have changed about it was the inclusion of R. Kelly. If she would have done Do What U Want solo, the album would have been flawless.”
