“Run” Is The Lead Single From Nicole Scherzinger’s ‘Big Fat Lie’ In America: See The Sultry Cover

Let’s hope it’s third time lucky for Nicole Scherzinger in the US. Her first album, the near-mythological Her Name Is Nicole, was scrapped entirely and official debut Killer Love never reached our shores despite spawning a couple of great singles. (“Don’t Hold Your Breath” is still near-flawless pop). She is now signed to Epic Records and they are going full steam ahead with new LP Big Fat Lie.

However, instead of releasing summery club-banger “Your Love” or mid-tempo break-up anthem “On The Rocks”, Nicole has opted for The-Dream and Tricky Stewart-produced power ballad “Run” to spearhead her American campaign. And it could turn out to be a masterstroke. The song, which impacts radio on October 6, is gorgeous and could have broader radio appeal than her previous singles. Listen to a radio rip of the song after the jump.
