Britney Spears Renews Las Vegas Residency For Two More Years

Britney Spears kicked off her Las Vegas residency Piece of Me in late 2013, drawing devout fans and pop stars like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. The last time she renewed her residency, she planned to perform shows up until the end of 2015 (and there were even reports that her stay could easily extend to December 2016).

Now, though, Spears has confirmed to Good Morning Britain that she has renewed Piece of Me for another two years, up until 2017. “The last time we chatted here on Good Morning Britain to you, you just started that tenure,” said host Richard Arnold. “It’s been extended for another two years.”

Like with The Tonight Show and Good Morning America, Spears appeared on Good Morning Britain to promote her lingerie collection “The Intimate Britney Spears.” Unlike those shows, however, she didn’t discover that she was signed up for Tinder or wasn’t asked to teach the “I’m a Slave 4 U” choreography.

Instead, after she confirmed that Piece of Me was renewed, Spears revealed that she likes to swim, cook and go to spas on days she’s not performing – “normal things.”
