During our recent interview with Gorgon City, members Matt Robson-Scott and Kye Gibbon discussed writing Sirens track “Go All Night” with “Hideaway” songbird Kiesza, then ultimately getting Jennifer Hudson to lend her vocals to the song.

“That track, we kind of didn’t really think it was gonna get on the album, because Jennifer Hudson delivered her vocals so late — it was two days before the album was meant to go to master,” Matt explained. “We were like, we haven’t got the vocal. We’re gonna have to put something different on the album. Then we just got an email in the inbox that’s like ‘J-Hud vocal’. We were like, ‘It’s here — got a day to finish it. Quick!'”

The result is a straight-up house track that finds Hudson letting her roof-blowing voice rip. If you ever wondered what J-Hud would sound like on an all-out dancefloor stomper, satiate your curiosity below!

Sirens will be released on October 7.
