I’ve seen a lot of demented music videos over the years but SHEON raises the bar by masturbating with a bible outside a church in her unforgettable “Second Base” visual. It’s a shame the song is so terrible because the Yugoslavia-born, Minnesota-raised diva delivers comedy gold with controversial antics that also include stripping in a confessional booth.
“Once I was old enough to make a decision for myself regarding my own spirituality, I realized how much I had been brain-washed by the church,” explains SHEON. “To me, the church is not about love, forgiveness, and redemption, but about control and fear.” Fair enough.
