For someone with not a single care in the world, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini‘s certainly been a busy girl as of late.

In the past few days, Chezza’s debuted the beachy-keen video for her latest smash “I Don’t Care,” the ferocious cover artwork for her upcoming fourth solo studio LP Only Human (due out in November), the tracklisting and now, the title track from the album.

Layered with Imogen Heap-like vocoders, the encouraging electro-ballad marks a mature new direction for Cheryl — and perhaps her most gorgeous and assured ballad to date. “We all fall down…you’re only human,” she sagely sings on the gorgeous, glittering chorus. Listen to the track up top.

Cheryl’s ballads are generally hit or miss, but “Only Human” certainly stands as one of the best offerings from her back catalog — and it all comes from a loving place. “I just want to bring a bit of light to people’s life with this album and hopefully give them a bit of hope and make them feel good. I just ultimately want it to be a great record that people love,” Chezza says of her forthcoming LP.

Did Cheryl nail it with “Only Human”? Let us know in the comments below.
