Nicki Minaj went topless for “Pills N Potions” before conquering YouTube with her ass-tastic “Anaconda” video. When you throw her raunchy Instagram antics into the mix, it’s fair to say the rap diva spent a considerable chunk of 2014 (semi-)naked. That makes her chic L’Uomo Vogue spread something of a surprise. Sure, the 31-year-old shows plenty of cleavage but her famous curves are largely hidden by a series of fashionable suits.

The femcee also shows a different, more vulnerable side in the accompanying interview. For starters, Nicki reveals she had a panic attack after performing “***Flawless” in Paris with Beyonce. “I was flying in a private jet, tired from the performance and the jetlag, but instead of sleeping, I worried about all of the deadlines waiting for me in Los Angeles,” she admits. “I got really scared – I had a sort of panic attack”.

However, the frightening experience did have one positive side-effect. “Seeing Beyonce with her daughter and husband was so tender,” Nicki says. “It showed me that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a caring mother at the same time.” Peruse the hitmaker’s stylish L’Uomo Vogue shoot above.
