Marina And The Diamonds Premieres New Single, “Froot”: Listen
Raise your glass, because a nice juicy serving of “Froot” is coming right up.
After weeks of teasing us with a taste of her first serving since her immaculate last record Electra Heart, from small snippets to song lyrics, UK songstress Marina And The Diamonds returns today (her birthday!) with “Froot,” the lead single and title track from her forthcoming LP.
Co-produced by David Kosten (Faultline), the song sees Marina diving deeper into disco-pop pulsations that recalls Little Boots, filling up her cup with catchy riffs (“ju-uiced, ju-uiced!“) and blippy electro beats. As opposed to some of her punchier productions, this one is a nice slow burn. Listen to “Froot” after the jump.
