Postmodern Jukebox, the same group who brought us the awesome bluegrass cover of Nicki Minaj‘s “Anaconda,” is back with another spin on a current pop favorite! Their latest song is a Motown-inspired version of Taylor Swift‘s “Shake It Off,” from her upcoming fifth album 1989 (out on October 27).

With help from singer Von Smith (who looks quite classy in a black and white tuxedo), they manage to add some vintage soul to the playful single – complete with harmonized background singers and a horn section. The result is a super-fun cover that could be enjoyed by lovers of the old-school sound as well as the new music generation.

Watch it up top.
