Iggy Azalea Confronts Angry Paparazzo At Grocery Store: Watch

Iggy Azalea confronts an angry paparazzo outside a grocery store in a new video that surfaced online.

While the person who uploaded the video claims that the The New Classic star had the photographer at a chokehold, the clip itself doesn’t make that clear. Instead, it begins with Azalea entering the parking lot. Her friend steps forward and yells at a photographer who had followed the two of them inside. Then her friend spits on the paparazzo, which led to him crying assault and saying, “Maybe I got AIDS right now. Maybe I got Ebola.” (Only the latter can be contracted via saliva.)

So Azalea fires back with some sarcasm: Okay. I hope you have Ebola. I hope you die, you f—ckin’ c—t.” See the encounter below.

The whole encounter, complete with a debate over whether a grocery store is considered a public or private place, is bizarre. (Technically, a grocery store is considered a public place – meaning that anyone, including paparazzi, can take photos there until a store employee asks him to stop.) “You’re in the store when I’m trying to buy eggs. No, that’s not the way it works, sweetheart. You’re pitiful,” Azalea says, before she pushes her cart toward the photographer, coming close to hitting him.

“Judge me for spazzing if you like but you only saw the 30sec aftermath which was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly & politely asked him to leave multiple locations during the course of the day,” Azalea said on Instagram in response (below), adding, “I don’t hate paps. Just the really aggressive ones. I only treated him the way he treated me all day. Fair is fair playboys and girls.”

Something is only “the way it is” for as long as one ALLOWS it to be. What I’m comfortable consenting a paparazzi do doesn’t require anyone’s opinion but my own. I don’t see why that’s hard for some to fathom. Judge me for spazzing if you like but you only saw the 30sec aftermath which was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly & politely asked him to leave multiple locations during the course of the day. I don’t hate paps, just the really aggressive ones… I only treated him the way he treated me all day. Fair is fair playboys and girls. ✌️ peace out. Ps. Someone in the hotel room above me is getting pounded I can hear it.
