Milky Chance Turn Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” Into A Breezy Folk-Pop Anthem On SiriusXM: Watch

Milky Chance is part of the new wave of European pop (think Tove Lo, Mr. Probz and Nico & Vinz) causing major damage on the Billboard Hot 100. The German duo’s hypnotic debut single “Stolen Dance” is hovering just outside the top 50 and is expected to climb a lot higher given mounting radio support. Their cover of Miley Cyrus“Wrecking Ball” should also win them some new fans.

Clemens Rehbein (vocalist) and Phillip Dausch (producer) aren’t the first indie-pop outfit to tackle Bangerz diva’s chart-topper. Haim, London Grammar and Angel Haze have all put their own spin on the song but Milky Chance really break the song down to basics and turn it into something unrecognizable. Watch the band perform the song on SiriusXM up top.
