He’s churned out stellar remixes for the likes of Beyoncé‘s “XO” and “Blow,” Madison Beer‘s “Unbreakable” to Neon Jungle‘s “Trouble,” and now, remix mastermind Monsieur Adi has set his sights on Queen Lana Del Rey‘s most recent Ultraviolence single, “Brooklyn Baby.”

Adi’s gone and hollowed out the breezy contents of the original, supplying warm synth textures, twerk-friendly beats and a subtle College & Electric Youth-like ’80’s sheen. Lana’s voice has been given a makeover as well, fluttering fast above the dreamy remake. It’s the kind of remix that doesn’t entirely betray the structure of the original, but provides just enough of a beat to motivate Lana to step away from her beat poetry and go twirling out on the dance floor.
