Taylor Swift is striking while the iron is hot. The 24-year-old, who is now expected to sell a whopping 1.2 million copies of 1989 this week, is already moving on from lead single “Shake It Off” — despite the fact that it’s still number one on iTunes and lodged at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 behind Meghan Trainor‘s blockbuster hit “All About That Bass”.

According to her label, the next single from 1989 is “Blank Space” and it’s set to impact radio on November 10. The Max Martin/Shellback anthem addresses Taylor’s lengthy dating history with cheeky lyrics about her little black book. “Got a long list of ex-lovers, they’ll tell you I’m insane,” the former country/current pop queen sings. “But I got a blank space baby and I’ll write your name.” Who could resist that offer?

Is this the right choice? Sound off in the comments below.
