BANKS Performs For NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concerts”: Watch
BANKS has been quite busy over the past few months: her masterful debut album Goddess was released on September 9, she recently wrapped up her accompanying tour in North America and will embark on the European leg next month. Today, NPR released an intimate performance from the singer as part of their “Tiny Desk Concerts” series.
Situated in what looks to be a quaint library classroom, the singer gives a smooth and breezy rendition of her latest single “Beggin’ For Thread,” an acoustic version of “Brain” and the fiery album opener — “Alibi.” The cozy atmosphere leans itself nicely to BANKS’ tender and emotive vocals.
