Ariana Grande And The Weeknd’s “Love Me Harder” Video: Watch Them Pose In The Simple Clip
Compared to the ’60s dance party that was “Problem” and the campy sci-fi nature of “Break Free,” nothing much happens in Ariana Grande‘s music video for “Love Me Harder,” her third, The Weeknd-featuring single off My Everything. That’s quite alright, though, as the dreamy mid-tempo number is arguably the best song off Grande’s second album, and a bit of visual understatement for this one is just what’s in order.
Here we see Ari arch and writhe around in what looks to be an abandoned house in need of a good scrubbing. She and The Weeknd do their separate things — mainly posing pretty for the camera — before coming together as a thunderstorm looms overhead.
Ariana’s previous two singles just narrowly missed out on hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, but with a little luck, this subtle track could be the one that pushes her all the way to the top.
