Rihanna Rejected All The Songs Calvin Harris Submitted For Her New Album

Rihanna and Calvin Harris struck chart gold with 2011 collaboration “We Found Love” but don’t expect to see the DJ’s name in the liner notes of her next LP. “No, I’m not on the Rihanna album,” the lanky Scot told a British newspaper. “I did a few things for it but they don’t get back to you, there are a lot of people involved.” (He should share a beer with the similarly-dissed Phil Collins!)

“She listens to everything, I know that, but she’s got a strong idea and identity and an idea of what her album should sound like,” Calvin continued. “It’s okay because I’m working on my stuff and it’s going fine.” The fact that Rih’s team wouldn’t respond to one of the game’s hottest dance producers strongly suggests that she’s moving in a harder R&B direction. Which actually sounds like a very smart move to me.

Do you think RiRi should collaborate with Calvin again? Have your say in the comments below.
