Is Azealia Banks About To Drop ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ Tomorrow? (Update: It’s Here!)
The impossible just might be possible: After years of delays, setbacks, heated Twitter arguments and eventual label depature, Azealia Banks just might be dropping that long-awaited debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, after all.
The clues began earlier this week, when Banks blacked out her social media accounts, as well as her official website. And, thanks to some particularly thirsty stans, it looks like the album was pre-loaded into Spotify based on a screenshot that includes previously released tracks like “Heavy Metal And Reflective” and “Chasing Time” — and then quickly removed. Plus, what appears to be an official album cover is now in the database. Basically, all signs point to yes (err, YAAAAS!) for a semi-surprise album drop.
