Marina And The Diamonds Serves Hollywood Glam In “Froot” Video: Watch
Marina And The Diamonds channels her inner Old Hollywood starlet in the video for “Froot” — the new single off her forthcoming third studio album. The Welsh singer looks absolutely flawless while wearing a Marilyn Monroe-inspired slinky dress and striking fierce poses in a hotel room. She also dons sparkly (and very appropriate) pineapple earrings — we like her commitment!
The shadowy and ultra-glamourous video (think No Doubt‘s 1996 “Don’t Speak” visual) is intercut with dance scenes, which go along perfectly with the song’s quirky electro-pop vibe. Froot, the follow-up to 2012’s Electra Heart, is Marina And The Diamonds’ forthcoming third studio LP. It is set for an April 3, 2015 release via Neon Gold Records.
