Fergie Is Collaborating With Nicki Minaj On Her New Album, Which Could Drop Sooner Than We Think

Fergie‘s much-anticipated/long-delayed sophomore LP boasts a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. She announced the tantalizing feature during a radio interview with Hot 97 this morning (November 13) and hinted that it might even be her next single. To be exact, the “Fergalicious” diva said it could be released before her LP. Which is expected to drop in early 2015.

The revelation came after an onslaught of questions about Iggy Azalea, which Fergie artfully dodged by changing the topic. She then mentioned the Nicki Minaj collaboration and described competition between other female artists in hip-hop as healthy. The 39-year-old’s comeback single “L.A. Love” is slowly gaining momentum on the Billboard Hot 100. The star-studded video and upcoming performance at the American Music Awards should help its cause no end. Watch the BEP frontwoman’s interview after the jump.
