Mary J. Blige shows her more vulnerable side on the latest The London Sessions cut, “Not Loving You.” Co-written alongside Sam Smith and Jason Napier, the singer pours her heart out on the minimal yet emotive piano-led ballad. The subtle production allows for the R&B diva’s strong vocals to be at the forefront.

Blige is gearing up to perform at this year’s American Music Awards on November 23, and will sing at the first annual A Very Grammy ChristmasThe London Sessions (out on December 2), features songs like “Therapy,” “When You’re Gone,” “Nobody But You” and “Whole Damn Year.” Take a listen after the jump!
