Readers’ Poll: Vote For 2014’s Top Albums
Who had the best album of the year? Vote and let us know!

Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran were up bright an early today to make the announcement of the initial nominees for the 2015 Grammy Awards on CBS This Morning. And, probably no surprise here — each of them landed nominations in at least one of the five categories announced so far. (The rest of the categories will be revealed throughout the day on Twitter, and we’ll be updating right here, so keep checking back!)

Sheeran’s x is up for Best Pop Vocal Album, where he’ll compete with Sam Smith, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and others. Pharrell’s G I R L is up for Best Urban Contemporary Album, as is Beyonce‘s 2013 self-titled LP (another one Pharrell worked on). As for the biggest award of the night (Album Of The Year), nominees included the “7/11” singer, Smith, Pharrell, Sheeran and Beck.
