7 Questions With Kodaline
Irish band Kodaline talk to us about their debut LP and breaking America. Find out more.

Kodaline exploded in Europe last year when their debut LP In A Perfect World produced a string of emotional soft-rock (in the best possible way) anthems documenting mournful tales of love and loss. The Irish band also made serious inroads stateside, touring regularly and promoting ballad “All I Want” with live TV performances, including a show-topping turn on American Idol.

The Dublin-based rockers are now back with “Honest,” the lead single from their much-anticipated sophomore set. The Jacknife Lee-produced track, which drops February 1, finds the band in something of a bad mood.  While “Honest” certainly has more of an edge than their previous hits with its sharp lyrics and angry guitars, Kodaline still throws in a soaring chorus and stays true to their whimsical stadium-rock sound. Listen to the future hit after the jump.
