Marina And The Diamonds’ “Froot” Gets A Oliver Nelson Remix: Listen
As soon as Marina And The Diamonds reemerged with her electronic gem “Froot,” the song seemed destined to be mixed and mashed for the dance floor. And so it is!
Today, Swedish producer Oliver Nelson unveiled his synth-tastic take on the track. “I’m very honored that i got the opportunity to remix this! Felt like i needed to go a bit crazy so i added some disco strings and flutes,” he explained on his official Facebook page. Bolstered by warm synth vibrations and a solid stomp, the song is full of flashy, Studio 54-y nostalgic ’70’s disco feels. While we await the next taste of Froot from Marina’s stash, this is certainly a welcome burst of feel-good energy to motivate on a Monday morning.
