Selena Gomez's smash hit "The Heart Wants What It Wants" gets an official remix package.

Selena Gomez isn’t wasting any time recording tracks for her first album with Interscope. The 22-year-old just wound up her seven-year stint with Hollywood Records by releasing greatest hits compilation For You, which spawned monster hit “The Heart Wants What It Wants”. (The teary break-up anthem is currently sitting at number six on the Billboard Hot 100). She’s clearly hoping to build on that momentum by getting new music out sooner rather than later.

The “Come & Get It” hitmaker already revealed that she’s going to spend the next four months working on her Interscope debut, but she remained silent about her potential collaborators until last week when she posted a pic in the studio with Dreamlab and Ruffian. The former production duo have a long history with Sel (they worked on “Hit The Lights”, “Like A Champion” and “Write Your Name”) but the other cook in the kitchen is usually associated with indie-pop acts and DJs. More excitingly, Ruffian recently posted a pic in the studio with Zedd. Could they be cooking up a hit for Selena? See the pics after the jump.
