Kendrick Lamar Returns To Compton In New Reebok Ad: Watch
Kendrick Lamar officially has a partnership deal with Reebok, and now the sneaker company has launched its first visual ad for their Fall/Winter 2015 line, with the rapper being the main star! Titled “I Am,” the three-minute mini-film shows the Compton native going back to the streets where he grew up.
Lamar performs an a cappella verse throughout the Anthony Mandler-directed clip. There is still no word yet on when K. Dot’s forthcoming third LP will be released. But for now, we have this commercial and his “i” single to enjoy. The artist also plans to design his own shoe for Reebok, so look out for that next year.
