Bianca Gracie | December 12, 2014 5:30 pm

The December month is getting chilly, but that isn’t stopping the music industry from firing things up with some major moments! This week was jam-packed with events: Nicki Minaj and Beyonce‘s cocky “Feelin’ Myself” collab leaked, Lil Kim and K. Michelle got their claws out (as did Diddy and Drake literally), Rihanna teased another snippet, and Marilyn Manson spoke up about that Lana Del Rey videoCharli XCX‘s forthcoming Sucker LP is also streaming (and it’s pretty awesome).

We at Idolator were busy little bees as well! Our own Mike Wass chatted with Walk The Moon, we launched a contest where you can see and meet Rixton in concert, chose the best under-the-radar synth-pop acts and handpicked our favorite albums of 2014. Also, keep voting for your own faves in the second part of our reader’s poll!

As always, you readers had plenty to say about the going-ons in the industry. Check out this week’s best comments below!

:: He also gave some commentary on Gwen Stefani‘s basic comeback on Gwen Stefani Talks About Writing A New Song With Charli XCX (Without Actually Meeting Her): “I love Gwen Stefani, both for No Doubt and as a solo artist but if “Spark the Fire” and “Baby Don’t Lie” are any indication of what’s to come, she seems like she’s run out of ideas. Playing it safe is one thing, but there’s a bit of a laziness to those two songs. I’m still holding out hope that perhaps her third single and the rest of the album.”
