Bobby Shmurda Reportedly Arrested In NYPD Investigation
Bad news for Bobby Shmurda! The young rapper was allegedly arrested today (December 17) at New York City’s Quad Studios, after a long-term NYPD investigation. He may possibly be involved in narcotics trafficking and various shootings. The news follows Shmurda’s recent charge for possessing a gun and marijuana. Billboard states the rapper was arrested early this morning along with other members of the GS9 Brooklyn gang.
Shmurda is facing indictment, but the charges won’t be officially released until tomorrow (December 18), when the arraignments will reportedly take place at Manhattan Supreme Court. Bobby Shmurda came onto the mainstream scene once his “Hot Nigga” song went viral and took over many parts of pop culture, including the Billboard Hot 100.
