Madonna's "Two Steps Behind Me": Gaga Diss Track?
A controversial demo from M's 'Rebel Heart' album surfaces online.

What exactly is going on with Madonna‘s Rebel Heart? It’s a subject we’ve been speculating on since the summer, when Madge had already divulged that she’d been in the studio with a small army of songwriters and producers. And now, with 2014 nearly over, we have six songs from the upcoming album (due out in March) officially released, while more than 30 demos from the project have leaked online.

We already know that Nicki Minaj is a featured vocalist on the LP. Further to that, Madonna has been quite chummy with Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry over the past year, performing with the former during her MTV Unplugged gig and attending her New York Bangerz Tour concert, while posing with the latter in a racy V magazine spread last spring. Last night Miley and Madonna kept their adoration of each other going — not to mention rumors of a possible Rebel Heart collab between the two — on Instagram.

Miley seized upon the fact that she’s been incorporated into the whole Rebel Heart album cover meme by posting the following fan-made gem last night with a caption that read “bitch i’m dj tweaker titz @madonna”.

Madonna responded about an hour later by re-posting the photo and adding, “Bitch i love you!❤️#rebelheart”.

Of course, Madonna is usually full of surprises, and she’s worked with just about everyone under the sun over the past year — including Kanye West, Diplo, Skrillex, Avicii, Alicia Keys, Natalia Kills, MoZella, Nicki Minaj and Disclosure — so it’s perfectly plausible that Miley (or even Katy Perry) might end up on the album by the time it’s released in March.

Here’s hoping, for the Material Girl’s sake, that we’ve seen the last of the leaks until then.
