Mø Talks 'No Mythologies To Follow': Idolator Q&A
We talked to the singer about Scandinavian pop music, her debut album and the Spice Girls.

Scandi-pop siren is capping off her very eventful 2014 with a brand new tune.

The No Mythologies To Follow songstress, who we chatted with earlier in the year before her big debut, debuted a dreary, yet undeniably dreamy new song called “New Year’s Eve” today, appropriately released just before the countdown to 2015.

Accompanied by footage of old New Year’s Eve celebrations, fireworks, explosions, Disney and Old Hollywood classics and grainy in-studio footage of the singer herself, the “Beg For It” songstress sings along a slow piano melody and strange stringy sound. “Why do some things stay the same when some don’t?/We stay we’ll stay around but we know…we know we won’t,” she mournfully sings before ultimately cheering up, at least briefly, for the sake of the sparkling holiday during the chorus. Forget about your problems, pretend you’re free and have a Happy New Year’s Eve! Hear the captivating new tune up top.
