Sam Smith, FKA Twigs & Tinashe Go (Somewhat) Shirtless For ‘V’s Music Issue, Jessie Ware Also Covers The Magazine
Sam Smith stands to win six Grammys next month and is one of the very few artists whose albums sold more than a million copies in 2014. Needless to say, the British “Like I Can” crooner is pop’s man of the hour at this point, so it’s no surprise to see him landing his face on the cover of magazines left and right lately.
The latest publication to employee Sam for their front cover is V, which brands the singer the New Sound Of Soul in its annual Music issue. Smith, who was shot by photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, is just one of four artists to appear on the front of V‘s upcoming issue..
“I have been waiting to share this for a LONG TIME!! I am on the cover of @vmagazine with four amazing girls!! This shoot is my favourite shoot to date!! So happy,” Sam noted.
Also shot by Inez and Vinoodh for the cover of V are Tinashe and Jessie Ware, two artists who recently wound up on Idolator’s 10 Best Albums Of 2014 list, as well as FKA twigs.
