Natalie La Rose Teams Up With Jeremih On “Somebody”: Listen To The First Single From Flo Rida’s Protege

Florida rapper Flo Rida threw his hat into the ring in 2013 by signing Dutch-born diva Natalie La Rose to his I.M.G. label (via Republic Records). She dropped her debut single “Somebody” recently and it’s a catchy R&B-pop anthem featuring “Don’t Tell ‘Em” hitmaker Jeremih.
“It’s a fun and funky song,” declares Natalie. “It’s feel-good, and it reminds me of summertime. I love to be around people, have a great time, and dance. That’s what it stands for.” In other words, it’s a breezy party jam that gets stuck in your head after the first listen thanks to the canny interpolation of Whitney Houston‘s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” in the chorus.
