Charli XCX's 'Sucker': Album Review
We review Charli XCX's much-hyped sophomore LP 'Sucker.' Find out what we had to say about the LP.

After establishing herself as pop’s new ‘It’ girl with a feature on Iggy Azalea‘s chart-topping “Fancy” and her very own top 10 hit (The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack cut “Boom Clap”), Charli XCX hit something of hurdle when follow-up singles “Break The Rules” completely misfired. The catchy anthem stalled at a number 35 in the UK and barely scraped into the Billboard Hot 100 — peaking at number 91. As such, the 22-year-old isn’t taking any chances with her next release.

Charli jumped on Facebook this morning (January 7) to announced that the release date of her critically-acclaimed sophomore LP Sucker has been delayed in the UK to accommodate a new version of album highlight “Doing It.” “I’m moving the UK and European release date of Sucker back to the 16th of Feb,” she wrote. “I wanted you guys to have the new version of ‘Doing It’ featuring Rita Ora. I’m also including a special unreleased bonus track.” The duet will be added to UK radio on January 12. No announcement has been made about an American release. See Charli’s post after the jump.
