Coachella 2015: 10 Artists We're Excited To See
Check out our gallery of artists performing at the 2015 Coachella Festival.

Happy Friday, Idolator readers! The New Year is officially in full swing, and things are just starting to heat up all over again in Pop World.

Kelly Clarkson got our pulses raising with the announcement of her new single “Heartbeat Song” out next week, which she’s been teasing piece by adorable piece, while Sia premiered her artsy, interpretive music video for “Elastic Heart” starring Maddie Ziegler and Shia LaBeouf. And Justin Bieber kicked off 2015 with a bulge — err, bang, thanks to his black and white Calvin Klein underwear campaign spread. (Of course, the Photoshop police were on the scene immediately.)

And over at Idolator, we launched an Ibrawlator between Justin Bieber and Nick Jonas and asked which one had the sexier underwear shot (have you voted yet?) and revealed the readers’ poll results for our Most Anticipated Albums of 2015, with Adam Lambert and Britney Spears taking the crowns. As always, you guys had plenty to say. Check out some of the week’s best (and worst) comments after the jump.

:: Margaret T couldn’t barely contain her excitement for more Lambert on Readers’ Poll Results: The Most Anticipated Albums Of 2015, As Chosen By Your Votes: “I’m really looking forward to the Queen + Adam Lambert tour, but as soon as that’s done Adams own album can’t come too soon.”

:: Lauriellen was also excited: “Adam Lambert RULES as do his Glamberts. I enjoyed the hell out of three Queenbert concerts and can’t wait for what is in store for us with his solo album.”

:: But Kiss My Foto was less enthusiastic: “Adam Lambert is in the top 100,500 most anticipated albums? there must be an error. Tho I don’t mind him be anywhere under Madonna.”

:: Sean M was wowed by Ellie’s Fifty Shades song on Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do”: Listen To Her Max Martin-Produced ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Song: “Commercially, it’s a smart move for Ellie to work with big pop producers like Max. Her voice is so unquestionably unique that she doesn’t need to veer into bizarre musical territories to still come off as one-of-a-kind. If this is any indication of where she’s going next, her third album will be a smash.”

:: Sean M also chimed in when it came to Justin Bieber, and felt the Biebs’ Photoshop scandal wasn’t a story at all on Justin Bieber’s Unretouched Calvin Klein Photo Surfaces, Deceives Us All: “I’m surprised anyone is surprised. It’s standard procedure in the modeling/entertainment world. Look at Nick Jonas through this entire album campaign…I can guarantee you every one of those hot “muscle” shots has been shopped. Notice how he refused to take off his shirt in public? But nothing compares to the harsh retouching that happens every time Madonna or Mariah put something out. Or that Aretha Franklin album cover…”

:: Calin found herself comparing Bieber’s latest shoot with a familiar character on Justin Bieber Poses Shirtless For Sexy ‘V Magazine’ Photo Shoot, Shot By Karl Lagerfeld: 3 Pics: “Derek Zoolander!!!!”

:: Wonton was impressed with Shia’s performance in Shia LaBeouf And Maddie Ziegler Duel Inside A Cage In Sia’s “Elastic Heart” Video: Watch: “I’m seriously becoming a fan of Shia’s performance art. It’s really intriguing.”

:: While Guest began diving into the video’s potential meaning: “My impression was that they were fighting for fame. fame is changing now and maddie’s getting all this attention whereas shia is getting attention for his “i’m not famous anymore” bag-over-the-head routine. Maybe they’re competing for fame…”

:: But Cat felt the video’s message was as clear as day: “You guys are missing the entire point! I can’t believe how nobody understood this video when it’s clear as day what it’s about. It’s about the entertainment industry victimizing young girls to get them to be sexual and alluring, while older men fight to not look. In the video, the girl represents the young exploited girl who at the same time tempts men. The man represents the typical man who fights to not succumb to temptation of younger women. You can see this by him trying not to touch her, trying to get away from her completely while she tries to seduce him. At one part he even climbs to the top to get away from her.”

:: Naomi wasn’t buying Iggy Azalea‘s explanation on Iggy Azalea Talks Criticism With ‘Vanity Fair,’ Says The Reason Is Due To “The Fact That I Have A Vagina”: “Oh please. Macklemore received criticism after the whole Grammy fiasco with Kendrick last year. She’s so delusional and passive aggressive. First of all, she cannot rap. AT. ALL. She’s not good at what she does. Her delivery is terrible. If she wins a Grammy in the rap category, I’m going to be very angry.”

:: And Hannah wasn’t either: “Okay, now I have always thought of Iggy as fairly intelligent (despite disliking her) but after reading her comments in this interview has completely changed it. The criticism of her is not because she’s doing ‘black music.’ There’s no such thing as ‘black music.’ Her criticisms are because she’s pretty much putting on a blackface performance and making a mockery of a culture. Did Mackelmore do that? No, he just made rap music without the blackface. That’s why he didn’t receive the criticism. Has nothing to do with vaginas, she is delusional.”

:: And finally, JBG1998 had very strong opinions about our Ibrawlator on Ibrawlator: Who Did The Underwear Photo Better, Nick Jonas Or Justin Bieber?: “Nick Jonas all the way. He looks like a sexy MAN! Justin? Not so much. He looks like a trashy butch lesbian. No offense to butch lesbians.”
