Watch the singer's dreamy, plastic bag-filled visual!

Last summer, Florrie gave us some awesome covers of tunes by Troye Sivan and Kiesza. But now, the UK pop singer is back with new material! Today (January 12) marks the release of the video for “Too Young To Remember” courtesy of H&M — Florrie is also a fashion model on the side. The bright and electric video is fit for the ultimate ’90s gal, complete with Saved By The Bell-inspired looks! The tune itself is a charming synth-pop stunner that includes a dreamy harmonies, fun electronic piano notes and a catchy hook.

“The song is feel-good and upbeat, so I really wanted the video to be fun and colorful but also quite minimalist too,” Florrie told H&M. “The verse is a throwback to the 80s and 90s, so there are lots of references to that time too. One of my looks was representing the grunge movement in the 90s; I had big grungy hair and got to play my kit, which always makes me happy.”

The singer continued, ”When I wrote the track, I started with the line too young to remember and thought it was a really interesting concept and something that a lot of people could relate to. The song is about living your own life, learning for yourself, making up your own mind. But it was fun to reference things from the 80s and 90s too that maybe you are too young to remember! Some of the lyrics are quite tongue-in-cheek; it has a sense of fun and freedom about it too. My favorite line is Big hair is my prerogative.”
