Mikky Ekko Releases New Track, “U” & Announces Spring 2015 Tour Dates With Broods
Mikky Ekko has ridden the popular wave ever since “Stay,” his 2012 duet with Rihanna. Three years later, the Lousiana-bred artist is finally gearing up for his long-awaited debut album release this month. We’ve already heard tracks like “Smile” and “Time,” but a new song has just dropped — and it’s simply titled, “U.”
The bubbling downtempo is one of Ekko’s most beautiful tracks yet, and is produced by Blood Diamonds (Grimes, Tinashe and most recently, Madonna). The singer’s romantic vocals gently float over the minimal, R&B-tinged production, which all wrap your ears in musical lushness! Look out for his debut LP, Time, on January 20 via RCA Records.
